A LITTLE BOX. A BIG DIFFERENCE! Did you know GRACE has mini food pantries right here in our community?

The GRACE TOLO boxes, short for Take One, Leave One, are large blue food boxes at three GRACE locations that give individuals and families access to food even when the regular Food Pantry is closed. 🥫❤️

The idea is simple: Take what you need. Leave what you can.

Behind these boxes are neighbors helping neighbors. Families, businesses, community groups and volunteers help keep them stocked so someone facing a difficult week can find a little relief when they need it most.

And that's what our GRACE Rivalry Week Challenge is all about.

Because food insecurity doesn't always look the way we imagine. Sometimes, a little extra help with groceries can make a big difference for a family trying to make ends meet.

This week, Grapevine 🐎 and Colleyville Heritage 🐆 are competing to raise money for GRACE and the local families it serves.

A local reunion we absolutely love! 💖

Talk about a full-circle moment! Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are back together, and this time, they’re bringing a little princess magic to the beauty world. ✨

The two former child stars just reunited for a new Rare Beauty campaign called “Still Making Each Other Blush,” celebrating their longtime friendship and their iconic 2009 Disney Channel movie, Princess Protection Program. 👑

But here’s the local connection that makes this reunion even sweeter! 🥹

Demi grew up right here in Colleyville, while Selena grew up in Grand Prairie. Long before the red carpets, hit songs and beauty empires, these two were just little kids appearing together on Barney & Friends! 💜

Fast-forward to today, and they’re teaming up again for Selena’s Rare Beauty brand with a limited-edition blush bundle inspired by their princess days. Talk about growing up together in the spotlight!

The Grapevine Mustangs are headed to the biggest race of the season! Both the boys and girls cross country teams have punched their tickets to the UIL State Championship on Saturday, November 7, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. 🙌

And the boys? They’re chasing history! 🏆 The Mustangs are five-time state champions. Can they bring home another title this year? 👀

And a special shoutout to four Mustangs earning All-Region honors: Audrey Rankin, Cayson King, Kale Cooper and Kris Contreras! 👏

For the first time in 25 YEARS, the Grapevine High School Mustang Band is headed to San Antonio for its UIL State performance! And before they hit the road, the community has a chance to help them celebrate this incredible achievement.

Join them Sunday at noon for a special community performance at Mustang Panther Stadium! 📣

🌧️ In case of rain, the performance will move inside the MAC.

These talented musicians have put in a season full of hard work, dedication and countless hours of practice. Now it’s time to show them just how proud Mustang Nation is!

Let’s pack the stands, make some noise and send our Mustangs to STATE with all the love and cheers they deserve! 💙❤️🎶

Luke Esquivel could be coming home to Grapevine High baseball! 🐎 ⚾️

It appears the superstar baseball player may be returning to the Grapevine Mustangs, where he helped lead the team to a state championship in 2025.

According to his dad, Lale Esquivel, Luke will be re-enrolling at iUniversity Prep and meeting with administration to discuss his return to the Mustang baseball team.

The news comes just days after the UIL State Executive Committee denied Luke’s appeal to play baseball at Southlake Carroll, upholding an earlier ruling that his transfer was for athletic purposes. That decision means Luke remains eligible to play at Grapevine.

And what a player he is! As a freshman in 2025, Luke was named the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Player of the Year after hitting .434 with 31 RBIs and posting a 1.46 ERA with 122 strikeouts. He was a driving force behind Grapevine’s state championship and is an LSU commit ranked among the nation’s top recruits in the class of 2028.

His departure from Grapevine and brief attempt to play for Southlake Carroll came amid a contentious eligibility dispute. The UIL ultimately upheld the ruling that his transfer was for athletic purposes.

Now, a return to the program where he made his mark could be on the horizon. While a return to the team has not yet been confirmed, the possibility has Mustang fans watching closely.

Ava Moore’s legacy continues and our community has a chance to be part of it. 💜

It has been more than a year since 18-year-old Ava Renee Moore was killed while kayaking on Grapevine Lake in 2025. Ava was a 2024 Timber Creek High School graduate who had just completed the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School and accepted an appointment to the Air Force Academy’s Class of 2029.

Ava left an extraordinary mark in just 18 years. At Timber Creek, she excelled academically, captained the basketball team and played varsity golf. The Texas House later honored her memory by recognizing November 7 as Ava Moore Day, and Timber Creek retired her No. 21 jersey.

Now, that legacy is continuing through the Ava Moore Than Scholarship Fund, created to help a graduating Timber Creek student pursue college, skilled-trade education or professional certification.

🏀 Timber Creek is raising money for the scholarship at the TCHS girls varsity basketball game on Friday, Nov. 6. The game begins at 6 p.m., and Moore Than T-shirts will be sold with 100% of the proceeds going toward the fund.

The name says so much about the life Ava lived: Moore Than. More than accomplishments. More than circumstances. A life rooted in service, courage, faith and making an impact on others.
