It served as a silent movie theater before becoming Willhoite Garage, the first full-service automotive station in Grapevine, in 1919. Named after Andrew Willey Willhoite and his business partner Bart H. Starr, this garage became an integral part of the community.
In 1980, local resident Phil Parker took over the building and transformed it into Willhoite's Restaurant & Galleria. The restaurant quickly gained popularity and expanded to encompass the entire building.
