Travel back in time to the 1900s. The seventies to be exact. A time when "convenience foods" were emerging and marketed as healthy. A mother and wife in Abilene, TX saw through this and was not feeding her family processed junk. She created her own granola with honey, sesame seeds, pecans, coconut. For a protein boost, she added dry milk powder. This is the origination of our granola bars (and loose granola) and Meaders' mom's recipe.
