To our customers who have truly become family,
My heart is so full tonight. ❤️
Today, exactly two weeks to the day after one of the scariest experiences of my life, I was able to come back to Día De Los Tacos. Walking through those doors and seeing so many familiar faces meant more to me than I can put into words.
Some of you who were there that scary day were back again today, and you welcomed me with the tightest hugs, kind words, and continued prayers. Over these last two weeks, the love and support you have shown not only me, but my girls and my entire family, has been overwhelming and truly humbling.
When we started serving this community, it was never just about serving food. For me, it has always been about inviting people to our table, serving them alongside my family, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome. And somewhere along the way, whether you realized it or not, so many of you became part of our family too. ❤️
Today reminded me of exactly why we do what we do. Seeing your familiar faces, hearing your words of encouragement, receiving your hugs, and simply being back among all of you filled my heart in a way I desperately needed.
Thank you for every prayer, message, phone call, hug, kind word, and every act of love you have shown my family during these past two weeks. I am beyond grateful for this community and for each of you who continues to pull up a chair at our table.
God has blessed our family with so much more than customers—He has blessed us with an extended family.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. My heart is full. ❤️🙏🏼
With love and gratitude,
Mary Lou Rodriguez & the Día De Los Tacos Family
