The Free Man

The Free Man The Free Man, a cajun and creole restaurant located on Commerce Street in Deep Ellum, aims to create a new "destination" for visitors of Dallas by offering an excellent selection of food, live music performances from 10 different acts per week, and a unique atmosphere. The restaurant provides lunch with well-priced food options, while also offering Happy Hour deals and selected half price appetizers from 4-7 PM seven days a week. In addition, customers will experience the taste of live jazz on Fridays from 7-10 PM, Saturdays from 7-10 PM and Sundays from 2-5 PM. With a focus on providing customers with an overall great time, The Free Man hopes to become a cornerstone of the resurgence of Deep Ellum.

You will be quized on how to make 5 to 10 basic cocktails, if you are a bartender you will have no problem telling us how to make the drinks.
If you can't, then please don't waste your time, or our time.

This isn't the chance to fake it til you make it.

To reach the Cajun and Creole restaurant on Commerce Street in Dallas via public transport, you can take the DART rail to the West End station. From there, you will need to walk southeast on Lamar Street towards Pacific Avenue until you reach the intersection with Commerce Street.

If you prefer to drive and park, you can take either I-35E or I-30 to get to downtown Dallas. Exit onto South St. Paul Street and continue driving south until you reach the intersection with Commerce Street. There are several paid parking options nearby, including surface lots and garages.
